Are you passionate about driving excellence in software quality across teams and departments? Do you want to lead the change in building and maintaining cutting-edge automated testing processes? We are looking for an experienced and motivated QA lead who can be the cornerstone of our company’s quality assurance strategy.



What will you be doing?

As QA lead, you’ll be responsible for ensuring top-tier code quality and testing processes across our organization. You’ll collaborate with product owners, the development manager and other key stakeholders to align testing roadmaps, create efficient release processes and foster a culture of quality and automation. You’ll have a hands-on role, using proof-of-concepts (POCs) to lead automation efforts and guide the QA team in delivering high-quality software.



Your role

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic leadership: Defining and implementing KPIs to track code quality, creating a data-driven approach to continuous improvement. Developing and aligning QA roadmaps with business and development strategies.
  • Automation and process optimization: Leading the development of automated testing processes and tools, coordinating efforts during releases and sprints. You’ll be hands-on, executing POCs and working closely with the development teams to streamline testing and release cycles.
  • Compliance and security: Working with the security and risk teams to establish and adjust controls that ensure our code and testing standards meet regulatory requirements. Participating in IT audits to ensure compliance.
  • Continuous improvement: Facilitating and attending company-wide meetings to identify areas for testing process improvements, advocating for a shift-left approach to integrate testing earlier in the development lifecycle.

Team leadership and development: 

  • Mentorship: Guiding QA engineers (located in Amsterdam and Bangkok) on the importance of testing, with a particular focus on automation, to reduce manual regression testing and prevent new issues.
  • Educational leadership: Helping the team stay current with testing strategies such as BDD, TDD and ATDD, and encourage exploration of new automation frameworks.
  • Problem-solving: Ensuring that any testing or automation challenges are quickly addressed, enabling the team to focus on delivering high-quality software and business functionality without blockers.

Vereisten

Your experience and skills

  • Proficiency in C# /.NET for automation and testing
  • Experience with contract testing, load testing, acceptance testing, snapshot testing (mobile) and performance testing
  • A strong background in BDD, TDD and ATDD methodologies
  • Experience in leading QA efforts in complex environments, with a focus on automation and process optimization
