BI/information analyst

Brand New Day is on a journey to transform data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and customer happiness. With a robust cloud data platform already in place, we are looking for an experienced BI/information analyst to help us radically improve and speed up delivery of insights and reports.

What will you do as BI analyst in the data team? 
You will define clear data requirements, build dimensional data models and deliver insightful data analysis. On a day to day basis, you: 

• use dbt and SQL to build and maintain data models on our Azure Databricks platform 

• are/will be the go-to person for our company data dictionary for financial, risk and regulatory reporting 

• deliver insightful data analysis to support data-driven decision-making 

• work in sprints with data engineers, business analysts and a product owner in the data team 

• collaborate on a regular basis with business stakeholders from e.g. risk, treasury, finance and commerce 

What we’re looking for 
You bring a blend of analytical and technical problem-solving skills with a solid business sense. You are: 

• an analytical problem solver  

• collaborative  

• thorough  

• curious, and an applied learner 

• experienced or interested in financial, risk and regulatory reporting in banking 

• capable of delivering data requirements, data ontologies and data insights  

• experienced in SQL, dbt, Azure Databricks (or similar) and Power BI 

• based in the Netherlands, fluent in English and speak (basic) Dutch
